Summary: Before working with LSI, Catherine Slatter was building her career at Goodrich Corporation to pursue her passion for business and aerospace development. She quickly rose through Goodrich and gained valuable experience in price modeling, sales and marketing, commercial wheel and brake services, and the military division.20 years ago, Catherine left Goodrich, "moved to one of the square states" (Utah), and joined the LSI team as the next generation of Account Executives that didn't have a legacy connection to Jerry Slatter. Since then, Catherine has worked in market analysis, developed early Capture processes and strategy plans, become a key player in the military market, and served in almost every position in the organization.Sean and Catherine then discuss their early history at LSI, including the legends and myths, acquisitions  made, the 2008 recession and the effects it had, and the transition from a small company to a large, nationwide organization. During the past two or three years, LSI has diversified the entire organization and experienced tremendous growth through several new and impressive contracts.Catherine gives advice to executives on business development tactics and the importance of relationships while building a successful pipeline.  She also discusses how to approach large opportunities and building a high-quality team of people to work with.We look forward to discussing more business development tactics and strategies with our listeners in the future!Reach out to social@lsiwins.com if you have any questions.
